Proposed Length of Classes:

All courses are three hours long

Availability for Teaching Classes:

I am available to teach classes from now (April 2006) until November 30, 2006 and again b between March 1 and November 30, 2007. (I will be on hiatus doing research for my seminars and publications from December 1, 2006 to March 1, 2007). I am flexible about class times within this timeframe (days, evenings, and weekends) though I do try to plan classes so that they are in the same parts of the country as much as possible.

Location of Classes:

I do not care where the classes are taught; however, I want your staff to find a space for me. Equipment: None needed, though I would prefer access to a white board, if possible.

Materials and Material Fees:

I will charge optional fees for the handbooks that accompany each class. These handbooks (each approximately 60-100 pages long) summarize tips from the class and provide links to useful books and internet sites.

They do not contain any information of a commercial nature except, unless other prohibited, my business contact information (address, phone number, website, etc.) I will submit a copy of these materials to your staff beforehand if you are interested. I will copy these handouts myself. The students are not required to bring any materials to class with them. These handbooks will be sold in class for $12 each.

Flyers:

I am willing to make flyers to publicize the class. However, I don?t mind if you want to make flyers for the class. I will send these flyers to people on my mailing list in your area. I will probably need around 15 copies. I probably will not be able to post any flyers around campus.

Maximum/Minimum Student Enrollment:

I am willing to teach the course on California tours to any number of students. All of the other classes need to have at least three students. It is very hard to teach these courses to fewer than three students.

Evaluations:

I want to ensure that students receive evaluations to determine if the class has met their goals. I will happily use any standard evaluation form that you so desire or, if you?d prefer, I?ll supply my own evaluation form.

Fees:

I will leave it up to your staff to determine the appropriate course fee. Most schools, however, offer these classes for either $39 or $49 each.

Promotional Plans:

I will send an announcement of my class to your local media and any appropriate internet bulletin boards (such as Craig?s List). I will also send an e-mail and flyer to everyone who has indicated an interest in my company within your local area.

I may also send flyers to community centers, senior centers, and travel clubs and mail press releases and/or short announcements to newspapers and radio stations in your area. I will submit announcements, flyers, and press releases to your office for review prior to sending them out.
